Overview
In the event of accidents and emergency situations, efficient escape, evacuation and rescue (EERA) will be vital to avoid injuries and fatalities. Our EERA expertise and track record spans multiple sectors, including the oil and gas business, maritime and offshore wind sectors, transportation (including tunnels) and buildings.
Service Breakdown
Our analysis will evaluate if the following is possible:
- escape to safe areas before being exposed to accidental loads (such as heat, smoke and toxic atmospheres)
- timely evacuation in a controlled manner before critical exposure of safe areas and/or it’s time to evacuate
- rescue and treatment of personnel not able to evacuate
- rescue treatment facilities are available for anyone who is injured following evacuation.
One of our EERA focus areas will be evaluating potential ‘bottlenecks’ in escape routes, which may increase escape times. We can also support with your Escape, Evacuation & Rescue Strategy (EERS).
