Vysus Group is proud to have committed to an initiative working towards equal pay, leadership and opportunities for women and men in the energy sector.
While developed by an Aberdeen-based organisation focusing on the local energy sector, Vysus Group has made the commitment to the AXIS Pledge to advance gender equality in our organisation globally.
We are among numerous other companies to have signed up to the pledge, below.
In 2022 we became members of the UN Global Compact – the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, aligning our operations with its 10 principles – committing to this pledge forms part of our participation.
We already have a culturally diverse workforce and are fully aware of the huge benefits this brings to us as an organisation and to the way in which we want to operate. We also recognise that we need to maintain the right environment to build on this further. The next stage is to develop our diversity further and this includes exploring how we can further promote equal opportunities for all.
The AXIS Pledge
We are committed to attracting, retaining and developing a diverse workforce and therefore pledge to:
- analyse the underlying reasons for any gender imbalance and/or gender pay gap in our organisation;
- follow a strategic plan, including clear ambitious targets, to deliver positive change; and
- be transparent with our staff and communicate on our progress.
